Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Lefa Supply. Our policy complies with all relevant South African laws, including the CPA and ECTA.
Note: For all returns, you must provide proof of purchase.
1. Statutory Right of Return (Cooling-Off Period)
This right is guaranteed under Section 44 of the ECTA for goods bought online, without having had the opportunity to physically inspect them.

Excluded Items: The cooling-off period does not apply to certain goods, such as:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
2. Returns for Defective or Unsafe Goods (Implied Warranty)
This right is guaranteed under Section 56 of the CPA and applies irrespective of our own warranty or guarantee.

Note on Defects: The 6-month warranty does not apply if the defect resulted from misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance by the Customer, or if the Customer was made aware of the specific defect before the purchase and accepted the Goods in that condition.
3. Delivery and Other Contractual Returns

4. How to Process a Return
To initiate any return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at sales@lefasupply.co.za within the relevant timeframe (7 days for cooling-off, 6 months for defects).
- Provide Details: Include your Order Number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return (e.g., Defective, Wrong Size, Change of Mind).
- Receive Authorization: We will email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide instructions for the return, including the return shipping address.
- Package and Ship: Securely package the Goods, include a copy of the original invoice, mark the RMA number clearly on the exterior of the package, and send the package to the provided address.
5. Refund Method and Processing Time
- Refund Method: Where a full refund is due, the Customer has the right to elect the refund method. We will process the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. We may offer store credit or exchange as alternatives, but cannot compel you to accept them if a cash refund is requested.
- Deductions: We will refund the full purchase price, minus any permitted deduction (e.g., reasonable charges for usage or restoration if applicable for non-defective returns).
- Processing Time: Once we receive the returned Goods and confirm they meet the required conditions, we will process the refund within [10 - 15] business days. Please note that banks may take additional time to reflect the funds in your account.
